Residential Property Fees
Our fee on purchases and sales are generally at 1% of the purchase price plus VAT. Our minimal fee for any property transaction is £2,500.00 plus VAT. Our fee does not include mortgage work for acting for your lender on complying with the mortgage terms and security requirements.
Other charges in addition to our professional fee:
1. Bank transfer fee: £50.00 plus VAT for each bank transfer (you can expect 2 to 3 bank transfers)
2. Anti-money laundering client-onboarding search: approximately £14.90 per person (depending on nationality)
3. Property search fee: approximately £480.00 depending on location of the property
4. Land registry registration fee: £655.00 for purchase price of £500,001.00 to £1,000,000.00 / £1,105.00 for purchase price of above £1,000,000.00
5. Stamp Duty Land Tax
6. For leasehold properties,
a. Landlord’s fee for notice of transfer and charge: approximately £250.00
b. Landlord’s fee for a certificate of compliance: approximately £180.00
c. Landlord’s fee for deed of covenant: approximately £250.00 (if needed)

Our fees
Depending on the complexity of your application, we estimate we will spend around 5 to 20 hours to prepare your application and compile all required documents. On average, our costs are between £2,500.00 plus VAT and £10,000.00 plus VAT.
Our hourly rates are:
Partner – £705.00 plus VAT
Associate Solicitor – £465.00 plus VAT
Trainee and Paralegal – £285.00 plus VAT
