02.02.2016 Mortgages boost

Buyers and remortgagers keep borrowing due to falling interest rates on mortgages.

The average interest rate on mortgages fell to 2,99%, which is the lowest interest rate in the last 16 years.

It is predicted that the rates will stay low for a while. The Bank of England also stated last month that the base rate would stay 0,5% for longer.

The ultra-low interest rates are great news for buyers of the property. It is advisable to consider buying property now, while bank rates remain low.
